Along with the flight operating activities contributing to local social and economic development, Vietnam Air services Company (VASCO) also pay attention to activities of gratitude and caring martyr family. On 29/12/2010, at Hamlet Tan A, Ta An Khuong Commune, Dam Doi District, Ca Mau, VASCO – Vietnam Airlines Corporation held the ceremony to granted gratitude house to Mrs Nguyen Thi Ung. Attending the ceremony were representatives of Youth Union of Ca Mau Province, Dam Doi district People’s Committee.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ung is wife of martyr Huynh Van Loc and is also mother or martyr Huynh Van Tu who died in the war against America. The house was built according to designs the gratitude house of Dam Doi district. Used area of 42 m2, value VND 40 million contributed by the union and the staffs of VASCO. On this occasion, representatives of VASC have also awarded family items worth some five million dong.
This is a profound humanitarian in recent years that has been responded by all staffs of VASCO in the spirit of “Gratitude” in order to build homes for martyr family.
